I want to know. Why is Herod a monster? Why is he so bad? So he killed some babies, sometime in the past, and killed with a purpose, not indiscriminatorily! The man had a plan. You know, the end justifies the means type of thing?...Why does everyone jump on him even if he killed some children? I don't hear people wail for drowned in the Ganges river kids, or smothered, poisoned, starved to death. Who even today still remembers Joan Bennett Ramsey or Nixzmary? What is the difference between the Herod's killing and the other killings? A simple truth: in one case, the male children died, in another, female.
"Gentricide" is a term used to describe a deliberate extermination of one sex. It is similar to actions under genocide only people exterminated are chosen by their "wrong" gender association as opposed to a national association.
Why is the record killing of women in the Bible: in 2Kings 15:16 God commands -"All the women therein that were with child he ripped up". So are ancient Judeans commanded to do. In other parts of the Bible they are advised to exterminate the non virgins and children but to retain the virgins. I don't hear anyone screaming about this, somehow. Why? What's the difference?
Why is Jehovah not a monster?
Why are Indian families who kill their female children not monsters?
